Installation Instructions

VINYL LETTERING AND NUMBERS

Use these instructions as a guide. Your decal may require a slightly different approach due to size, the surface you're applying the decal to and if there's multiple pieces to align during the initial setup steps.

Please note: These are not peel-and-stick stickers. To ensure the vinyl adheres to the application/transfer tape, we suggest going over the front and back of the decal with a squeegee ( a credit/debit card would suffice) before attempting to lift the decal with the transfer tape. If parts don't come up with the transfer tape, place it back down and rub a little harder.

Step 1: Use rubbing alcohol or soap and water to thoroughly clean the mounting surface. Avoid using Windex or comparable products and ensure surface is completely dry before applying decals.

Step 2: Do not remove the backing paper for now. It's a good idea to go over the top layer of the decal with a debit/credit card or squeegee to ensure the decal is sticking to the application tape better before attempting the next step. Use low-tack tape, such as blue painters' tape, to temporarily hold the decal in place while you carry out the next steps of the installation instructions after positioning it where you want it on the mounting surface. Only attach tape to the decal's TOP side.

Step 3: Slowly begin removing the white backing paper from behind the decal by reaching behind it. Begin with a few inches. To attach the top portion of the vinyl decal to the mounting surface, use a Squeegee or credit card.

Step 4: Use the squeegee or credit card to continue pressing the vinyl decal onto the mounting surface while continuing to carefully pull more of the backing paper straight down with one hand.

Step 5: Squeegee the decal one more once it has been completely adhered and the white background paper has been eliminated. Make certain that the mounting surface is firmly pressed against all edges.

Step 6 - Carefully remove the transparent transfer tape at a very low angle. The transfer tape should not be pulled away from the mounting surface at a 90-degree.  If the decal comes off Repeat Step 5.

Step 7: There might be small bubbles in the decal depending on how well you applied it. After the decal has been exposed to the sun a few times, very minute bubbles will often vanish over time. By poking a tiny hole in the vinyl with a tiny pen or needle and then pushing down, larger bubbles can be eliminated.
